Notification badge/counter should disappear when clicking the bell

It's kinda annoying that the badge won't leave the screen unless you properly get into Notification tab. It's cool to know new events had happened but it kind of oblige you to check your full feed. I believe the badge/counter should disappear when you click the bell and "preview" recent events. If you really want to check it out, then proceed to Notifications tab and new events will be highlighted.
